Led by Eric Stevens (NRA Certified Instructor & Owner of 1791 TAT), this course exceeds the state requirements for CPL certification. We combine high-level classroom doctrine with live-fire range drills to ensure you leave with more than just a certification-you leave with a standard of readiness.

- Experience Level: No prior experience required.
- Logistics: Lunch is provided. Please bring snacks, drinks (other than water), and weather-appropriate clothing for the outdoor range

Readiness Level II is where theory meets reality. This 6-hour high-tempo evolution is designed to take the foundational skills learned in Level I and pressure-test them. We move beyond the static line to focus on the mechanical skills required to fight with a handgun: speed, efficiency, and subconscious weapon manipulation.

- The Baseline: Developing a repeatable stance and grip to manage recoil.
- Draw Stroke: Master a consistent, sub-second draw from holster to presentation.
- Administrative & Tactical Reloads: Keep the weapon in the fight under time standards.
- Malfunction Clearance: Instant recognition and clearing various malfunctions.
- Target Transitions: Multiple threat engagement and focal plane management.

- Experience Level: Completion of Readiness Level I or a vetted equivalent.

This evolution is designed to equip the everyday practitioner with the skills to recognize and respond to a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies. Whether at home, on the range, or in the workplace, Response I ensures you have the competence to stabilize a casualty and preserve life.
